  1. To open Launchpad, click it in the Dock or open it from your Applications folder. Or pinch closed with your thumb and three fingers on your trackpad.
  2. Enter the app’s name in the search box at the top of Launchpad if you don’t see it there. If your list of apps spans more than one page, you may navigate between them by clicking the dots at the bottom of the screen or by using two fingers to swipe right or left on your trackpad.
  3. Until the apps jiggle, press and hold the Option () key or click and hold any app.
  4. To delete an app, click the Delete button next to it, and then click Delete again to confirm. The app is immediately deleted.
