2 Ingredient Cinnamon Roll Apple Cobbler

2 Ingredient Cinnamon Roll Apple Cobbler is prepared using simply a can of Pillsbury cinnamon buns and a tube of apple pie filling. And believe me, when you serve it warm and add vanilla ice cream on top, these two components are a match made in heaven. Yum!

2 Ingredient Cinnamon Roll Apple Cobbler

I’ve been craving anything and anything fall-related since it’s September, and this simple apple cobbler makes me think of Thanksgiving without any of the hassle. It’s even simpler than most dump cakes, in fact!

You just need to cut the cinnamon buns into quarters and combine them with the apple pie filling once you have all of your ingredients. In a small oiled baking dish, spread the mixture on the bottom and bake for about 25 minutes at 375 degrees.

Drizzle the frosting that comes with the cinnamon roll tube all over the top after baking the cinnamon rolls until they are completely done and beginning to brown.

Take pleasure in alone or with a hefty dollop of vanilla ice cream. No, hold on a second. A must-have is ice cream. Without it, eating cobblers might be against the law.

The cinnamon rolls were perfect despite my slight concern that they would be mushy. To prevent the cinnamon rolls from being completely buried in the apple mixture prior to baking, I would advise using a 2 quart baking dish or something bigger.

Notes

  • For more crunch, you could also sprinkle some roasted nuts on top.
  • A 2-quart baking dish is commonly 9×9 or 7×11, in case you’re not familiar with baking dish dimensions. Simply make sure it’s big enough to allow for some space around the cinnamon rolls so they don’t bake unevenly.
