Refreshing Blueberry Salsa
Refreshing Blueberry Salsa – This Whole30-compliant and vegan Fourth of July dip dish is crafted with all fresh and tasty ingredients, including this quick and reviving blueberry salsa.
The ideal summertime snack is this light and energizing blueberry salsa dish. I was first a little unsure of how blueberries would taste in salsa, but it’s delicate and wonderful while yet being distinctive and addictive.
One of my all-time favorite dishes is homemade salsa. Nothing is more reviving than chopping and combining the freshest ingredients, letting the flavors mingle, and serving it with your favorite tortilla chips. I chose to include one of my favorite summer fruits in today’s meal by thinking outside the box a little bit, and the outcome is great. It doesn’t require any of the sugar included in many store-bought salsas because it naturally contains a small sweetness.
I’ve been preparing this blueberry salsa in a variety of ways for every meal because, well, I’m addicted. Here are a few of my preferred original approaches:
- accompanied by tortilla chips (obviously, I adore my grain-free Siete Foods chips!
- Since I mentioned that this salsa is Whole30 compliant, you may eat it with plantain chips on top of avocado toasts over roasted or grilled veggies with eggs in tacos or burrito bowls. You can also have it with fish, steak, chicken, or any other protein of your choice.
This recipe is such a cool and delicious snack on a hot day, so if you’re reading this and it’s summer I highly suggest you give it a try. Make it for all of your summer celebrations and get-togethers since it’s also a ridiculously simple Fourth of July dip recipe that looks sophisticated and exciting!
Refreshing Blueberry Salsa Ingredients
- 2 cups of blueberries, fresh
- 1 chopped red bell pepper
- 2 seeds and membranes removed jalapeño jalapenos, chopped finely
- chopped red onion, half
- 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 lime juice
Instructions
- The recipe for this blueberry salsa is among the simplest. Simply mince the items and combine them! The blueberries’ flavors actually mesh better with the other ingredients when they are first roughly chopped. Simply put them in the food processor and pulse a few times to get that rough chop if you’re as lazy as I am (blueberries can roll all over the cutting board!).
- While you may eat this right away, I do advise giving the salsa an hour or so in the fridge to allow the flavors to truly develop and marry. The longer it sits, the better it actually is!
