Chicken Tenders Recipe
Chicken Tenders Recipe is quite simple to make and comes out juicy, tender, and flavorful! You will adore them if you’ve ever tried Cracker Barrel chicken tenders!
Any night of the week, you can prepare this dinner in a matter of minutes. You need to make a straightforward marinade with only four ingredients, and after that, you can cook the chicken any way you choose! To make them year-round, I prefer to use a skillet.
Chicken Tenders Recipe Ingredients
- chicken breast tenderloins weighing 1.5 pounds
- Zesty Italian Dressing, 1 cup
- Honey, 1/4 cup
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- Pepper and salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl or a plastic food storage bag, first combine the honey, garlic, Italian dressing, salt, and pepper.
- Toss everything together with the chicken until it is thoroughly coated.
- Then you simply leave it alone. It should be marinated for at least 10 minutes, but the longer the better. I like to let it sit in the fridge all day before cooking it for dinner the following night.
- Discard the marinade and the chicken from the marinade.
- Cook the chicken on both sides in a hot skillet or grill for about 6 minutes, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Notes
- For this recipe, you can use any kind of chicken. Because they cook so quickly, chicken tenderloins are a favorite of mine. However, you can use chicken drumsticks, bone-in chicken, or chicken breasts. The chicken will taste fantastic as long as it is cooked through.
- You can cook the chicken any way you want. You can cook it in an air fryer, on the grill, or in a large skillet heated to medium-high temperature. t matters not, as long as you know what you want and are comfortable with.
- The chicken tenders should not be overcooked. People believe that chicken is a bad meat because of this, which is the most common occurrence. To determine when the chicken is done, use a thermometer. It is finished when it reaches 165 degrees F. Serve it right away after taking it off the heat. The chicken will only become dry from additional cooking.
