BACON-WRAPPED CHICKEN TENDERS

Bacon-wrapped chicken tenders are crispy, delicious, and juicy tenders. The brown sugar coating produces the delicious glaze, while the bacon prevents the chicken from drying out.

To be very honest, I truly enjoy elaborate recipes that use numerous components. In theory, I enjoy cooking and can spend hours in the kitchen producing delectable and enticing meals.

You may, however, occasionally wish to spend more time with your husband, your child, or yourself. Then recipes like bacon-wrapped chicken tenders, which are no less delectable but incredibly simple and quick, come to the rescue.

Chicken tenders, bacon, and condiments are all you need. Try these delicious morsels if you still believe that there is too much poultry in meat.

Another cheese-based take on this subject. On the chicken tender, place a slice of hard cheese (cheddar or Swiss work well). Then bake after wrapping in bacon.

Bacon-wrapped chicken tenders Ingredients

Bacon-wrapped chicken tenders

  • 1 pound of chicken tenders (approx 10 chicken tenders)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 10 bacon strips
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt, 1/2 to 1 tsp.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Garlic powder, 1 teaspoon
  • 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder

Instructions

Bacon-wrapped chicken tenders

  1. Sprinkle chicken tenders with salt and all of the spices, with the exception of chili powder, to coat them on all sides.
  2. Fold the edges down and wrap the chicken in bacon in thin slices.
  3. Sprinkle chicken rolls with chili powder-brown sugar mixture. To prevent the mixture from falling off, press it down with your fingers.
  4. Cook for 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 350 F on a baking sheet lined with parchment. Alternately, cook for about 30 minutes with the lid on in a smoker.

Tips

  • If you want additional chicken tenders, increase the seasoning, salt, and bacon pieces by two times.
  • Use bacon that has been thinly sliced. It won’t stick out and is simpler to wrap around chicken tenders.
