BLACKENED SALMON WITH GRILLED NAAN AND LIME SLAW

Blackened grilled salmon served, including oregano, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, is used to season the salmon. I threw it on the grill until it was just cooked. Because it’s so good, this might be my new favorite seasoning for salmon. I put the naan bread on the grill as soon as the salmon came off the grill! The naan can become even more puffy and bubbly as a result of this. It gives the bread a charred, smoky flavor and, of course, warms it up.

The only thing left to do after the grilling is to spread the slaw on top of the naan. Next, flake the salmon on top. Apply the sauce to it, and you’re good to go! This is my favorite open-faced bread, but you can use the same ingredients to make sandwiches as well.

The grilled salmon is to die for! On top of bubbly grilled naan bread, lime slaw, and blackened grilled salmon. Exceptional meal!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. of fresh Atlantic salmon from ALDI (1 to 2 pieces)
  • smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon
  • a half-teaspoon of dried oregano
  • 1/2 kosher salt spoon
  • freshly cracked black pepper, half a teaspoon
  • Crushed red pepper flakes and half a teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 4 Selected Naan Breads, Especially

SLAW

  • 4 cups of green cabbage or coleslaw mix, shredded
  • Sliced 3 miniature seedless cucumbers; 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
  • freshly squeezed lime juice, 2 tablespoons
  • Specially Selected Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2 Tablespoons

AVOCADO SAUCE

  • 1/4 avocado and 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • freshly squeezed lime juice, 2 tablespoons
  • Specially Selected Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 2 Tablespoons
  • minced garlic clove, salt, and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Set the grill to 400 to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • With a towel, dry the fish. The paprika, oregano, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes should all be combined. Sprinkle salmon all over.
  • Salmon should be placed on the grill. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes with the lid on, or until the meat is opaque and pink. After removing the fish, wait five minutes.
  • Naan bread should be grilled for only a few seconds on each side, until warm and slightly charred, while the salmon is resting.
  • Spoon the slaw over the naan bread to assemble the dish. Add some flaked salmon on top. Pour the cilantro sauce on. Enjoy!

SLAW

  • In a bowl, mix the cabbage, cucumbers, and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper. Olive oil and lime juice should be blended before tossing. Save for later use by setting aside. This can be prepared in advance and kept in the refrigerator!

AVOCADO SAUCE

  • In a food processor or blender, add all the ingredients and pulse until well incorporated. Pour over the salmon. This can be prepared in advance and kept in the refrigerator!
