Dill Pickle Fat Bombs

The ketogenic diet, sometimes known as keto, is an extremely low-carb, high-fat eating plan that resembles the Atkins, Whole30, and Paleo diets. It entails substantially lowering carbohydrate intake and substituting fat for it. You enter ketosis when your body starts using fat as its primary food source.

You should consume at least 70% of your calories from fat, 15% to 25% from protein, and 10% from carbohydrates while following the Keto diet. All cereals, legumes, root vegetables, fruit (apart from berries), and sugar are to be avoided.

Set the bacon aside to cool after frying it until crispy. Mix the cream cheese, diced pickles, shredded cheddar, pickle juice, chopped dill, garlic powder, and pickle juice in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly to combine.

In a small bowl, combine the chopped green onion and cooked bacon. The pickle and cream cheese mixture should be used to make 12 Tbsp-sized balls. After that, roll the pickle balls in the green onions and bacon.

Notes

  • In between each ball, I scrubbed my hands. This preserved the bacon’s crispiness and cleanliness.
  • Keep chilled until you’re ready to serve.
  • You can choose any flavorful cheese that you like.
  • You can roll your fat bombs in grated cheese, parmesan cheese and herbs, crushed nuts, or both if you don’t consume bacon. An excellent alternative is to leave them bare.
