Everything Bagel Chicken Tenders

Let’s start this week off with a simple dinner recipe that will probably remind us all of something we ate growing up. Chicken tenders that are crunchy and crispy. I chose to enhance my recipe by adding everything bagel spice to the conventional crunchy baked chicken tenders. Both the child and adult in you will be satisfied by these Everything Bagel Chicken Tenders!

Chicken nuggets or chicken tenders can be made in a variety of ways. Although I personally prefer not to, you can fried them. You don’t have to deal with frying or the added calories, and you can still achieve crispy chicken tenders by baking. Of course, my least preferred technique is to open a box of them from the freezer department of the supermarket.

Instructions

Everything Bagel Chicken Tenders

  1. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and preheat the oven to 400° F. Spray cooking spray on the foil if you’re using it.
  2. Take two shallow bowls or pie plates. In one, crack an egg, add some water, and mix everything together. Combine the panko and all-bagel seasoning with the other.
  3. Dip a number of chicken tenders in the egg wash. Move them into the panko mixture with a fork and toss them around until they are coated. Place them in a single layer on the baking sheet that has been prepared. Continue doing so until all of the chicken has been coated.
  4. Depending on how big they are, bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Mix together the ingredients for the dipping sauce while the chicken bakes until the internal temperature reaches 165° F. Serve the cooked chicken tenders with them.
