Ingredients
- a box containing 12 dinner rolls.
- 2 pounds of beef, ground
- One little yellow onion, finely minced
- Kraft American Cheese, 12 Slices
- 1 cup of lettuce, shredded
- 12 to 15 dill pickles, hamburger (slices)
- 13 of a cent of Thousand Islands Dressing
- 2 whisked eggs
- Toasted Sesame Seeds, 1 T
- 1 teaspoon melted butter
- Salt, 2 tons (or to taste)
- Garlic Powder, 2 t. (or to taste)
- Black pepper, 1 t. (or to taste)
- Minced onion, 2 T (or to taste)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder with the ground beef. Avoid overmixing this. Mix only until everything is combined.
- Seasonings can be altered to suit your preferences. Some people may prefer more or less pepper and salt.
- Make two rectangles out of the meat mixture that are slightly larger than six dinner rolls by dividing it in half. You need to shape the square shapes so that in the wake of baking you can put the meat patty on top of 6 of the supper rolls when the supper rolls are as yet associated one next to the other in two lines of three like when the rolls are taken out of their packaging.
- I like to top the two rectangles with a little more minced onion after placing them on a cookie sheet. To ensure that it cooks evenly, ensure that the thickness is pretty even. Bake for approximately 12 minutes at 350 degrees. The meat should not be overcooked or undercooked because every oven is different.
- Divide the six buns into two sets down the middle while the meat cooks.so that you have lids and bottoms.
- I spread the thousand island dressing all over the rolls with a spoon after spooning about two tablespoons of it on each bottom.
- You can use a paper towel to remove any extra grease from the meat after it has been cooked. The meat patties should be placed on top of each of the bottoms of six buns. Place a thousand-island layer on top of each meat patty.
- Place the cheese slices across each meat patty after removing them from their packaging. Allow the cheese to melt by placing the tray back in the oven. This will take only a few seconds.
- Spread the minced onion, pickles, and lettuce over the entire patty once the cheese has melted. The top with the “lids” of the bun
- Apply a thin layer of sesame seed sprinkling to the tops of the buns with a pastry brush.
- Divide the burger into smaller portions.
