Sweet potato everything bagel chips

For the sweet potato bagel chips

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line two baking sheets with parchment paper for the sweet potato bagel chips.
  2. To get rid of any dirt, thoroughly wash the sweet potatoes and scrub the skin.
  3. Slice the sweet potatoes with care using a mandoline slicer on a setting of 1/8 inch.
  4. Place the sweet potato chips in an even layer on the baking sheets. Apply two tablespoons of avocado oil to each side. Sprinkle 1 1/2 tablespoons of the everything bagel seasoning on one side of the chips.
  5. Ten minutes in the preheated oven. Flip with tongs after removing from the oven. On the other side of the chips, add the remaining bagel seasoning.
  6. Bake another 10 minutes, or until crisp to your liking, in the preheated oven. The exact oven temperatures can vary, so keep an eye on the chips to prevent burning.
  7. If desired, serve with a cream cheese dip.

For the cream cheese dip

  1. Combine all of the ingredients for the cream cheese dip and stir until well combined. Season to your liking.

Notes

  • Use a slicer for mandolins. To chop chips, you might possibly just use a sharp knife, but it’s more difficult to get even cuts using a knife. To make sure the chips bake properly and are uniform, use a mandolin. However, use caution because mandolin mishaps may occur rather easily!
  • Observe the chips carefully. The temperature and cooking times stated below have always worked for me when I’ve prepared these chips a ton of times. On the other hand, ovens sometimes operate a little differently, and chips can burn quickly. Make cautious to watch the chips to prevent burning!
